- The defect
- Airstream, Inc. (Airstream) is recalling certain 2022 Interstate 24X recreational vehicles. The inverters may have been improperly wired with incorrectly sized wires and circuit breakers.
- What it can cause
- The inverter electrical circuit could become overloaded, which can increase the risk of a fire.
- What the dealer does
- Dealers will install additional wiring and circuit breakers, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed September 3, 2021. Owners may contact Airstream customer service at 1-877-596-6505 or 1-937-596-6111 ext. 7401 or 7411.
