- The defect
- Ox Bodies, Inc. (Ox Bodies) is recalling certain 2019-2021 Stampede, Maverick, Chisholm, Trash Body, Flat Dump, Stock Yard, Load King, Aluminum, Chipper, Chisholm Lite, Frontier, and Trailmaker dump bodies. The weld in the rear hinge assemblies of the dump bodies may be insufficient.
- What it can cause
- An insufficient weld may cause the rear hinge assembly to fail, increasing the risk of an injury.
- What the dealer does
- Ox Bodies will repair the rear hinge assembly welds, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed on July 15, 2022. Owners may contact Ox Bodies' customer service at 1-205-932-5720.
