- The defect
- Grand Design RV, LLC (Grand Design) is recalling certain 2023 Transcend travel trailers. These vehicles were manufactured without an emergency exit window in the main living area.
- What it can cause
- A missing emergency exit window could prevent or delay the occupants from exiting in the event of an emergency, increasing the risk of injury.
- What the dealer does
- Dealers will replace the window with an emergency exit window, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed June 12, 2023. Owners may contact Grand Design customer service at 1-574-825-9679. Grand Design's number for this recall is 910035.
