- The defect
- Bucher Municipal North America (Bucher) is recalling certain 2014-2020 Johnston VT651, VT652, VS651, VS652, VT801, VS802, and Bucher V65t vehicles. The pin securing the hydraulic rear door cylinder can corrode and break, causing the rear door to fall.
- What it can cause
- The falling door can strike operators or bystanders, increasing the risk of injury.
- What the dealer does
- Dealers will inspect and replace hydraulic rear door cylinder pin, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed June 25, 2024. Owners may contact Bucher customer service at 1-704-658-1333.
