- The defect
- McNeilus Truck & Manufacturing, Inc. (McNeilus) is recalling certain 2015-2024 Zero Radius refuse trucks. The side loader arm may not be properly secured, resulting in unexpected movement while driving.
- What it can cause
- A side loader arm that unexpectedly extends out from the vehicle body while driving increases the risk of a crash.
- What the dealer does
- McNeilus will provide new latch assemblies, free of charge. In addition, a McNeilus technician will update the vehicle software, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed October 18, 2024. Owners may contact McNeilus' customer service at 1-888-686-7278.
