- The defect
- Indian Motorcycle Company (Indian) is recalling certain 2022 FTR 1200 R Carbon, FTR 1200, FTR 1200 S and FTR 1200 Rally motorcycles. These motorcycles may have been assembled with an altered fuel tank containing holes that can leak fuel.
- What it can cause
- A fuel tank leak increases the risk of fire or injury.
- What the dealer does
- Dealers will replace the fuel tank, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed December 17, 2024. Owners may contact Indian customer service at 1-877-204-3697. Indian's number for this recall is I-24-09.
