- The defect
- Mack Trucks, Inc. (Mack) is recalling certain 2025 Anthem and Granite vehicles. The power cables may have been improperly routed, which can cause an electrical short.
- What it can cause
- An electrical short can cause an engine stall, increasing the risk of a crash. An electrical short can also cause the cables to overheat, increasing the risk of a fire.
- What the dealer does
- Dealers will re-route the power cables, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed June 16, 2025. Owners may contact Mack's customer service at 1-800-866-1177. Mack's number for this recall is SC0480.
The repair is free, whatever the age or mileage of the vehicle, and whether or not you are the original owner.
