- The defect
- Altec Industries, Inc. (Altec) is recalling certain 2019-2024 AT Series vehicles. The lower emergency stop may not function when the upper control is selected.
- What it can cause
- An emergency stop that does not shut off the unit during an emergency increases the risk of death or serious injury.
- What the dealer does
- Altec will correct the wiring between the power distribution module and the machine harness, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed January 16, 2026. Owners may contact Altec customer service at 1-877-462-5832. Altec's number for this recall is CSN-3265.
The repair is free, whatever the age or mileage of the vehicle, and whether or not you are the original owner.
