- The defect
- Diamond Coach Corporation (Diamond Coach) is recalling certain 2025 VIP buses equipped with QRT-Deluxe and QRT-Max wheelchair restraints. The retractors may not lock, preventing the wheelchair from being properly secured.
- What it can cause
- An unsecured wheelchair can move during transit, increasing the risk of injury.
- What the dealer does
- Diamond Coach will work with Q'Straint to inspect and replace the retractor as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed February 6, 2026. Owners may contact Diamond Coach at 1-800-442-4645.
The repair is free, whatever the age or mileage of the vehicle, and whether or not you are the original owner.
