- The defect
- Autocar, LLC (Autocar) is recalling one 2024 E-ACTT terminal tractor. The battery cable connections at the traction motors and the power inverter may not be properly secured.
- What it can cause
- Improperly secured cable connections may overheat, increasing the risk of a fire. Additionally loose connections may cause a loss of motive power, increasing the risk of a crash.
- What the dealer does
- Autocar will inspect and properly secure the cable connections as necessary, free of charge. All vehicles were repaired by February 4, 2026. Owners may contact Autocar customer service at 1-888-218-3611. Autocar's number for this recall is ACTT-2505.
The repair is free, whatever the age or mileage of the vehicle, and whether or not you are the original owner.
