- The defect
- Grand Design RV, LLC (Grand Design) is recalling certain 2026 Solitude recreational vehicles equipped with a ThermaHeat Tank Pad. The water tank heating pad may experience high resistance and fail.
- What it can cause
- A heating pad failure can increase the risk of a fire.
- What the dealer does
- Dealers will inspect the heating pads and replace as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed on March 4, 2026. Owners may contact Grand Design customer service at 1-574-825-9679. Grand Design's number for this recall is 910055/M910056.
The repair is free, whatever the age or mileage of the vehicle, and whether or not you are the original owner.
