- The defect
- Pierce Manufacturing (Pierce) is recalling certain 2025 Velocity, Saber, Impel, Enforcer, and Arrow XT vehicles. The steering linkage arm bolt may come loose, resulting in the steering linkage arm detaching from the steering motor.
- What it can cause
- Steering linkage arm detachment can cause a loss of steering control, increasing the risk of a crash.
- What the dealer does
- Dealers will tighten the steering linkage arm bolts, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed February 10, 2026. Owners may contact Pierce customer service at 1-888-974-3723.
The repair is free, whatever the age or mileage of the vehicle, and whether or not you are the original owner.
