- The defect
- Newmar Corporation (Newmar) is recalling certain 2026 Freedom Aire motorhomes. The front chin spoiler may detach during transit.
- What it can cause
- A detached spoiler may become a road hazard, increasing the risk of a crash.
- What the dealer does
- Dealers will install pop-rivets to properly secure the spoiler, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed May 20, 2026. Owners may contact Newmar customer service at 1-800-731-8300. Newmar's number for this recall is 630 RSB.
The repair is free, whatever the age or mileage of the vehicle, and whether or not you are the original owner.
