- The defect
- Ember Recreational Vehicles, INC. (Ember) is recalling certain 2026-2027 Touring Edition recreational trailers, equipped with certain Curt Touring Coil Suspensions. The shock bolts may have been incorrectly tightened.
- What it can cause
- Broken shock retainer bolt heads and washers may detach and become a road hazard, increasing the risk of a crash.
- What the dealer does
- Dealers will replace the shock bolts, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed June 2, 2026. Owners may contact Ember customer service at 1-844-732-4204.
The repair is free, whatever the age or mileage of the vehicle, and whether or not you are the original owner.
