- The defect
- Escape Trailer Industries Ltd. (Escape) is recalling certain 2025-2026 Escape E13 F1 recreational trailers. Insufficient ventilation around the refrigerator may allow carbon monoxide to buildup inside the passenger cabin.
- What it can cause
- The accumulation of exhaust fumes increases the risk of injury or death from carbon monoxide poisoning.
- What the dealer does
- Dealers will install a ventilation fan and insulation, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed August 4, 2026. Owners may contact Escape customer service at 1-855-703-1650.
The repair is free, whatever the age or mileage of the vehicle, and whether or not you are the original owner.
