- The defect
- Jayco, Inc. (Jayco) is recalling certain 2027 Jayco Eagle, Eagle SLE, and Heartland Sundance fifth wheel trailers. The auto leveling jacks may be lowered during transit.
- What it can cause
- Activation of the jacks during transit increases the risk of a crash.
- What the dealer does
- Dealers will install a jumper wire, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed September 11, 2026. Owners may contact Jayco customer service at 1-800-283-8267. Jayco's number for this recall is 9901665.
The repair is free, whatever the age or mileage of the vehicle, and whether or not you are the original owner.
