- The defect
- Marathon Industries Inc. (Marathon Industries) is recalling one 2025 Ford F-650 SD vehicle. The deck pins may break, resulting in the liftgate platform falling.
- What it can cause
- A liftgate that falls unexpectedly increases the risk of injury.
- What the dealer does
- Marathon Industries will work with the supplier, Hiab, to inspect the platform bushings and hydraulic systems and replace the deck pins, free of charge. The manufacturer has not yet provided a schedule for recall notification. Owner may contact Marathon Industries' customer service at 1-661-286-1520.
The repair is free, whatever the age or mileage of the vehicle, and whether or not you are the original owner.
