In owners' own words

Quoted from NHTSA's complaint file. These are unverified accounts by the people who filed them, not findings of fault.

FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM
Strong fuel smell in rear of vehicle, Upon further inspection, it was discovered that a hard fuel line connection was leaking from a fitting on top of a very hot engine and very close to a very hot manifold. Leak was very pronounced and there was strong evidence that this leak and been dropping for some time. (staining of engine) Vehicle was brought in to dealer service for in fact confirmation of leak. There were no warning lights or CEL's whatsoever. Only a strong fuel smell in rear of vehicle. My felling is this could have been a disaster for anyone operating the vehicle or a passenger, had the dripping fuel ignited on the hot engine. Absolutely worst place to put a fuel line connection.

NHTSA complaint 11750011. Filed by an owner and not verified by NHTSA or by us.

FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM
A faulty fuel line above the engine needed to be replaced. The fuel line leaked enough to pool on top of the engine. I took the car to Porsche Irvine, they fixed it under warranty and mentioned that this was not unusual and they have seen this before in MY2022 Porsche 911 cars

NHTSA complaint 11750116. Filed by an owner and not verified by NHTSA or by us.

FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM
Metallic Fuel line located on top of the engine suddenly started leaking. Previous time I drove the car there was no indication of a gasoline leak or odor. There were no warnings or indications of an impending leak until gasoline was emitted from the line. Fortunately when the leak started I was only driving locally and upon returning to my house a raw gasoline odor was apparent at the back of the car. Had I been driving up to Monterey which is a 6 hr. drive I’ve done several times before a gasoline leak over the engine would of likely caused a fire that would have been extremely hazardous. The car was towed into the dealer as it was not even safe for a 5 mile drive. The dealer reported

FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM
String gas odor while driving. Upon inspection it was determined that a fuel line was leaking on top of the engine which requires an engine out repair. There are several other people discussing the same issue of Rennlist.com a Porsche enthusiast site. Seems to be a problem.

NHTSA complaint 11675009. Filed by an owner and not verified by NHTSA or by us.

EXTERIOR LIGHTING
Rear Tailight internal stress cracks causing condensation moisture and dust buildup. Dealer says this is normal, vehicle is only 2 years old, 20k miles and under warranty. Seems like there is a seal issue with the moisture and dust due to the internal cracks of the taillights. I've read on Rennlist and seen on YouTube that this is occurring for others as well that own 992 911's. The taillights were inspected by two dealers, one said it was normal but did not mention cracks, another dealer confirmed it was due to "stress cracks" inside the taillights but that this is normal. The manufacturer (Porsche North America) was contacted and responded that since 2 dealers could not find an issue a

FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM
Massive fuel leak. Appears to be fairly common amongst other owners. Required engine out to repair.

Where these numbers come from

A complaint is one owner's account and has not been verified by NHTSA or by us. A vehicle with more complaints is not necessarily worse: models that sold in larger numbers collect more of them. How this is counted.
