The defect
Battle Motors, Inc. (Battle Motors) is recalling certain 2023-2024 Let2 trucks. The drag link connecting the steering gear to the roadside steering knuckle may become deformed or break.
The risk
A broken drag link can cause a complete loss of steering control, increasing the risk of a crash.
The remedy
Dealers will install a new drag link, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed February 1, 2024. Owners may contact Battle Motors customer service at 1-877-546-2537.

Air is bypassing the SR-7 valve, thus charging the brake chambers allowing the park brake to release. This was on-route, Stopped vehicle, set park brake, exited vehicle to service customer, followed by uncontrolled movement of vehicle rolling away striking a fence.

Air is bypassing the SR-7 valve, thus charging the brake chambers allowing the park brake to release. Unit was on route, stopped vehicle, set park brake, exited vehicle to service customer followed by uncontrolled movement coming to a stop after hitting some trees.
