Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2021-2023 Dodge Durango vehicles. The rear spoiler may not be aligned properly with the roof, possibly resulting in damage to the spoiler during liftgate use.
The risk
A damaged rear spoiler may detach and create a road hazard, increasing the risk of a crash.
The remedy
The remedy is currently under development. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed beginning September 10, 2026. Owners may contact Chrysler customer service at 1-800-853-1403. Chrysler's number for this recall is 61D. Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) involved in this recall will become searchable on NHTSA.gov on August 20, 2026. Vehicles in this recall were previously recalled under 21V842 or 23V115. Vehicles repaired under the prior recalls will need the new repair completed.

POWER TRAIN:AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION:LEVER AND LINKAGE:COLUMN SHIFT
Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2023 Dodge Durango Pursuit vehicles equipped with an instrument panel mounted shifter. The shifter may experience an interference with the shifter boot and come out of gear while driving, which can result in a sudden loss of drive power.
The risk
A sudden loss of drive power can increase the risk of a crash.
The remedy
Dealers will replace the instrument panel mounted shifter boot, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed November 7, 2023. Owners may contact FCA US, LLC customer service at 1-800-853-1403. FCA US, LLC's number for this recall is 94A.

And he advise me to make sure I address this with the service department. Misty was the lady that did my oil change and tire rotation that day. I showed her the picture, she couldn't tell me what it meant, but she started that it was probably a dirty sensor. My husband was involved in a car accident on [XXX]. He left the road way due to a deer striking a light pole. Our biggest concern is when he first hit a driveway culvert the emergency breaking did not engage and after striking the light pole. Complete brake failure when stopping for a red light. This caused the vehicle to rear end a Jeep stopped at the light. Brake pedal went completely to the floor. This was verified by the investigating State Trooper, who started the Durango and checked the brakes, they went all the way to the floor as indicated in his report.

EXTERIOR LIGHTING
The daytime running light and blinker went out way sooner than it should have and cost a fortune to replace just for it to fail again in another year. I had only owned the car for 8 months before they went out. It is unsafe and absolutely should be fixed when this is a well known issue with this year, make, and model vehicle. So many people have the exact same issue and it should be fixed. It’s just going to happen again. I have 4 kids and it is unsafe to be driving with no blinker but cost almost $2000 to replace and I cannot do that. When so many people have the exact same issue, there should absolutely be a recall on the headlight assembly and it should be fixed. You can’t replace just …

EXTERIOR LIGHTING
My drivers side led headlight has only lasted 2 years. One bulb goes out and the whole assembly needs to be replaced. These led lights are supposed to last 5-10 years. I have both headlights with a single light out. Passenger side turn signal and drivers side running day time lights. The headlights mopar makes are not in par with the cost of 1,200 to replace the entire assembly for just one headlight

ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
The radio displays Uconnect box requires service, please visit an authorized dealer. When that happens you cannot use the safety call 911 button, if you are using your phone for navigation, you will not be able to see it. It also makes the vehicle run different.

The contact owns a 2023 Dodge Durango. The contact stated that upon startup and while driving, the check engine and airbag warning lights illuminated. Additionally, the gear shifter became stuck when shifting into drive(D). The rearview camera flickered, displayed incorrect images, and the display screen intermittently froze or turned blue. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer on ten occasions, and an unknown diagnosis was provided. The vehicle was repaired, but the failure recurred. The manufacturer was not contacted. The failure mileage was approximately 55,000.

The contact owns a 2023 Dodge Durango. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the vehicle failed to accelerate as needed. No warning light was illuminated. The contact turned off and waited before restarting the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, who replaced the fuel pump, but the failure persisted. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 40,000.
