- The defect
- Cruiser RV is recalling certain 2024-2025 Stryker travel trailers, equipped with optional Onan 5.5 generators. These generators may not be properly vented and allow the generator to overheat or prevent exhaust gas from escaping properly.
- What it can cause
- A generator that overheats increases the risk of fire. In addition, trapped exhaust gases inside the trailer can increase the risk of injury.
- What the dealer does
- Dealers will correctly route the generator venting, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed September 18, 2024. Owners may contact Heartland customer service at 1-877-277-5630.
