- The defect
- Storyteller Overland, LLC (Storyteller) is recalling certain 2024-2026 GXV Hilt recreational vehicles. The auxiliary power system wires may have been improperly. The wires may be damaged by contact with the intake manifold.
- What it can cause
- Damaged wire may overheat and short, increasing the risk of a fire.
- What the dealer does
- Dealers will inspect, replace, and secure the wires as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed October 8, 2025. Owners may contact Storyteller customer service at 1-888-999-7442.
The repair is free, whatever the age or mileage of the vehicle, and whether or not you are the original owner.
