FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: AUTOMATIC EMERGENCY BRAKING
- The defect
- Autocar, LLC (Autocar) is recalling certain 2025-2026 ACX (Xpeditor) vehicles. The Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB) system may unexpectedly turn off when the vehicle turns.
- What it can cause
- The loss of AEB increases the risk of a crash.
- What the dealer does
- Autocar will update the AEB software, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed December 18, 2025. Owners may contact Autocar customer service at 1-888-218-3611. Autocar's numbers for this recall are ACX-2506.
The repair is free, whatever the age or mileage of the vehicle, and whether or not you are the original owner.
