- The defect
- The Heil Co. (Heil) is recalling certain 2023-2025 side loader garbage trucks equipped with certain Agility Fuel Solutions CNG Fuel Systems, using part number 10300466. The manual cylinder valves may develop stress corrosion cracks in the bottom plugged port, causing a leak.
- What it can cause
- A natural gas leak in the presence of an ignition source increases the risk of a fire.
- What the dealer does
- Agility will replace the valves, free of charge. All affected garbage trucks were repaired by August 14, 2025. Owners may contact Agility's customer service at 1-844-474-7400 or Heil's customer service at 1-866-275-4345.
The repair is free, whatever the age or mileage of the vehicle, and whether or not you are the original owner.
