BACK OVER PREVENTION: SENSING SYSTEM: CAMERA
- The defect
- Lamborghini (Automobili Lamborghini) is recalling certain 2019-2024 Urus vehicles. A software error may deactivate the rearview camera image, resulting in the image not displaying. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 111, "Rear Visibility."
- What it can cause
- A rearview image that does not display reduces the driver's view behind the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.
- What the dealer does
- Dealers will update the parking assist software, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed July 9, 2026. Owners may contact Lamborghini customer service at 1-866-681-6276. Lamborghini's number for this recall is L636-R.01.26.
