THE CAR UNINTENTIONALLY ACCELERATES. THIS HAPPENED ON 3 DIFFERENT OCCASIONS. THE 1ST OCCURRENCE HAPPENED APPROXIMATELY TWO WEEKS AFTER PURCHASING THE VEHICLE. IT'S A 2015 MODEL. I PURCHASED A VEHICLE IN AUGUST 2020. THE 2ND OCCURRENCE HAPPENED NOV 12 AND TODAY NOV 21. THE 1ST TIME THIS HAPPENED I DID SOME RESEARCH AND IT SEEMED LIKE THERE WAS AN ISSUE WITH MASERATIS FLOOR OWN FLOOR MATS. AT THE TIME AND PRIOR TO KNOWING THIS, I HAD PUT BRAND NEW FLOOR MATS OF MY OWN IN THE VEHICLE COMPLETELY UNAWARE THAT THIS WAS AN OEM ISSUE. AFTER THIS HAPPENED THE 1ST TIME, I REMOVED MY PERSONAL FLOOR MATS THINKING THAT WOULD SOLVE THE ISSUE. THE 2ND TIME THIS HAPPENED, THE ISSUE WAS SLIGHT AND THERE

Where these numbers come from

A complaint is one owner's account and has not been verified by NHTSA or by us. A vehicle with more complaints is not necessarily worse: models that sold in larger numbers collect more of them. How this is counted.
