EQUIPMENT ADAPTIVE/MOBILITY:WHEELCHAIR RESTRAINTS/SECUREMENT:CRITICAL FASTENERS
- The defect
- Turtle Top is recalling certain 2026 Terra Transit and Odyssey transit buses. The retractors may not lock, preventing the wheelchair from being properly secured.
- What it can cause
- An unsecured wheelchair can move during transit, increasing the risk of injury.
- What the dealer does
- Dealers will inspect and replace the retractors as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed June 29, 2026. Owners may contact Turtle Top customer service at 1-800-296-2105.
The repair is free, whatever the age or mileage of the vehicle, and whether or not you are the original owner.
