The defect
Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2019-2026 Ram 1500 vehicles. The second-row seat belt buckle anchors may have been improperly installed. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 210, "Seat Belt Assembly Anchorages."
The risk
An improperly installed seat belt buckle anchor may fail to properly restrain occupants, increasing the risk of injury during a crash.
The remedy
Dealers will inspect and attach the seat belt buckle anchor to the body structure as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed August 18, 2026. Owners may contact Chrysler customer service at 1-800-853-1403. Chrysler's number for this recall is 67D. The defect
Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2026 Ram 1500 vehicles. The headlight wiring may cause the parking lights and daytime running lights to flicker on and off, or fail. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment."
The risk
Parking lights and daytime running lights that fail to illuminate properly reduce the vehicle's visibility to other drivers, increasing the risk of a crash.
The remedy
Dealers will inspect and replace the headlight assemblies, as necessary, free of charge. Interim notification letters, notifying owners of the safety risk, are expected to be mailed July, 30, 2026. Additional letters will be sent once the final remedy is available. Owners may contact Chrysler customer service at 800-853-1403. Chrysler's number for this recall is 62D. The defect
Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2025-2026 Ram 1500 Pickup, Ram 2500 Pickup, Ram 3500 Pickup, Ram 3500 Cab Chassis, Ram 4500 Cab Chassis, and Ram 5500 Cab Chassis vehicles. A software error may cause the instrument panel display to fail. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards numbers 102, "Transmission Shift Position Sequence," 105, "Hydraulic and Electric Brake Systems," 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment," 126, "Electronic Stability Control Systems for Light Vehicles," 135, "Light Vehicle Brake Systems," 138, "Tire Pressure Monitoring System," and/or 208, "Occupant Crash Protection."
The risk
An instrument panel display that fails to show critical safety information, such as gear selection and warning lights, increases the risk of a crash.
The remedy
Dealers will update the instrument panel software, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed May 5, 2026. Owners may contact FCA customer service at 1-800-853-1403. The defect
Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2024-2026 Jeep Wagoneer S, 2025-2026 Ram 1500 Pickup, Ram 2500 Pickup, Ram 3500 Pickup, Ram 3500 Cab Chassis, Ram 4500 Cab Chassis, Ram 5500 Cab Chassis, and 2026 Jeep Cherokee vehicles. Due to an improperly designed trailer tow module, the trailer lights may fail to illuminate and the trailer brakes may fail.
The risk
Trailer brake lights and turn signals that do not illuminate reduce visibility to other drivers, increasing the risk of a crash. Additionally, trailer brakes that fail increase the risk of a crash.
The remedy
Dealers will replace the trailer tow module, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed beginning March 17, 2026. Owners may contact FCA US, LLC customer service at 1-800-853-1403. The defect
Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2025-2026 Ram 1500 Pickup, Ram 2500 Pickup, Ram 3500 Pickup, Ram 3500 Cab Chassis, 4500 Ram Cab Chassis, and Ram 5500 Cab Chassis vehicles. A software error may cause the instrument panel cluster display to be blank. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard numbers 135, "Light Vehicle Brake Systems," 105, "Hydraulic and Electric Brake Systems," and 102, "Transmission shift lever sequence, starter interlock, and transmission braking effect."
The risk
An instrument panel display that does not show critical information, such as warning lights or gear selection, increases the risk of a crash.
The remedy
Dealers will inspect and update the instrument panel software or replace the instrument panel cluster, as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed December 18, 2025. VISIBILITY:SUN/MOON ROOF ASSEMBLY

The contact owns a 2026 Ram 1500. The contact stated that while driving 35 MPH, the rear panoramic sunroof exploded and shattered, causing shards and pieces of glass to fall inside the vehicle, onto the driver's side headrest, armrest, and on the center console. The contact closed the shade cover and continued driving to the residence, where the vehicle was parked. While the contact’s wife was searching through the vehicle, she sustained a cut on the right forearm but did not seek medical assistance. The contact had not sustained any injuries. LANE DEPARTURE: BLIND SPOT DETECTION

I purchased a new Ram RHO Dec 31 2025, on Saturday, January 17th 2026 1:03 AM, I received an email, a triggered alert 1) Driver Assistance Blind Spot Monitoring System Triggered Allert, Schedule your Service Appointment. I made an appointment for a shake in wheels and blind spot monitoring I brought it to Joey Accardi Ram Pompano Beach Fl, I picked up the truck with the same issue. I called Rick the service advisor and explained to him, still not right, and expressed a concern that the mechanic must have driven my truck hard, because everything was all over the place in bed of pick up. Rick assured me they don't let those specialty vehicles out for test drive; they don’t go out on the road.

FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: AUTOMATIC EMERGENCY BRAKING

Emergency brake comes on during car wash and engine turns off. Car crashed into the back of the truck on 7-7-26 causing damage to the front of their vehicle. Truck was evaluated by dealership who "reset the electronics" but it continues after this service.

Every time I press the unlock button on my remote or when any of the four doors is opened on the vehicle the tailgate automatically opens.

POWER TRAIN
Vehicle auto braking inoperative, lane detection not working, main screen goes completely black. Vehicle went into limp mode while entering the freeway . Main dash flagged yellow, and highlighted check engine, service electric stability control, airbags service, 4 x 4 unavailable, service electronic stability control.

EXTERIOR LIGHTING
Dealer offerd for sale, sold, but didn't physically deliver the vehicle. On the 11th of July. On the 14 of July i was informed my new vehicle was ready for pickup. It was not repaired I was told I would just have to come back when the parts arrived. I declined delivery and requested unwind and was told that was not an option because they funded the loan. I still wish to unwind the contract and not do business as they were willing to break the law and if I had not known and declined, I would have been unknowingly taking unnecessary liability. This company is a risk to public safety. As "we sometimes do this for people."
