The defect
Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2019-2026 Ram 1500 vehicles. The second-row seat belt buckle anchors may have been improperly installed. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 210, "Seat Belt Assembly Anchorages."
The risk
An improperly installed seat belt buckle anchor may fail to properly restrain occupants, increasing the risk of injury during a crash.
The remedy
Dealers will inspect and attach the seat belt buckle anchor to the body structure as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed August 18, 2026. Owners may contact Chrysler customer service at 1-800-853-1403. Chrysler's number for this recall is 67D. BACK OVER PREVENTION: SENSING SYSTEM: CAMERA

The defect
Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2019 and 2023 Chrysler Pacifica, 2024 Ram 1500, Ram 2500, and 2024-2025 Jeep Wrangler vehicles. Contamination in the central vision processing module or improper programming may cause the rearview camera image not to display. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 111, "Rear Visibility."
The risk
A rearview image that does not display reduces the driver's view behind the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.
The remedy
Dealers will update the central vision processing module software or replace the module, as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed beginning July 16, 2026. Owners may contact Chrysler customer service at 800-853-1403. Chrysler's number for this recall is 46D. Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) involved in this recall will be searchable on NHTSA.gov on May 28, 2026.

The defect
Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2019-2024 Ram 1500 vehicles. The driver's side air bag may not be connected properly, which can cause the air bag not to deploy as intended. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 208, "Occupant Crash Protection."
The risk
A driver's side air bag that does not deploy as intended increases the risk of injury in a crash.
The remedy
Dealers secured the connectors for the air bag, free of charge. All vehicles have been remedied. Owner notification letters were mailed May 27, 2025. Owners may contact Chrysler customer service at 800-853-1403. Chrysler's number for this recall is 08C.

The defect
Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2023-2024 Ram 1500 vehicles. The turn signal self-canceling feature may not function properly. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 108, "Lamps, Reflective devices, and Associated Equipment."
The risk
Turn signals that do not function properly may fail to indicate the driver's intention to change vehicle direction, increasing the risk of a crash.
The remedy
Dealers will inspect and replace the steering column control module as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed October 23, 2024. Owners may contact Chrysler customer service at 1-800-853-1403. Chrysler's number for this recall is A1B.

The defect
Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2019, 2021-2024 Ram 1500 vehicles. Due to a software malfunction, the anti-lock brake system (ABS) control module may disable the electronic stability control system. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 126, "Electronic Stability Control Systems."
The risk
Driving with a disabled electronic stability control system can increase the risk of a crash.
The remedy
Dealers will update the ABS control module software, free of charge. Interim notification letters, notifying owners of the safety risk, were mailed October 10, 2024. Owner notification letters were mailed beginning September 26, 2024. Owners may contact FCA US, LLC customer service at 1-800-853-1403. FCA US, LLC's number for this recall is 85B.

The defect
Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) (Stellantis) is recalling certain 2023-2024 Ram 1500, Jeep Wrangler, Jeep Wagoneer, Jeep Grand Wagoneer, Chrysler Pacifica, Ram 3500, Ram 3500 cab chassis, Ram 2500, Ram 4500 cab chassis, Ram 5500 cab chassis, 2023 Jeep Gladiator, Jeep Grand Cherokee, Jeep Grand Cherokee L, Ram 3500 Cab Chassis with a GVWR less than 10,000 lbs., and Chrysler Voyager vehicles. The steering column control module may not be welded properly, which can prevent the driver's air bag from deploying in a crash. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 208, "Occupant Crash Protection."
The risk
An air bag that does not deploy in a crash can increase the risk of injury.
The remedy
Dealers will inspect and replace the steering column control module, as necessary free of charge. Some owner notification letters were mailed April 11, 2024 through June 20, 2024. The airbag system failed to deploy during a front-end collision. Despite significant damage to the front of the vehicle, none of the airbags activated. Yes, the vehicle is available for inspection upon request. The driver (my husband) hit his head on the steering wheel due to the airbags not deploying, which put his safety at serious risk. The lack of airbag deployment increased the chances of injury during the impact. The problem has not yet bee confirmed by a dealer or independent service center. We are in the process of having the vehicle inspected. The vehicle was seen by police and today insurance representatives will inspect it. However, the manufacturer has not yet inspected the

The contact owns a 2024 Ram 1500. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, after making a right turn, the front passenger's side wheel detached from the ball joint. The vehicle was uncontrollable. The vehicle crashed into a street sign. The passenger’s side of the vehicle then crashed into two trees. The vehicle then crashed into a concrete pole and came to a stop. The vehicle was towed to a local tow yard. The contact sustained minor pain and bruising. No medical attention was required. While driving started smelling something burning. Pulled to the side of the road and opened the hood to find the truck on fire. The truck burned completely and is a total loss.

POWER TRAIN

The driveshaft boot fell apart or came loose and contacted the emission system exhaust piping and eventually caught on fire. The whole underside was in flames and it was extinguished by the passengers. The unit could have completely caught on fire as the gas tank is close by. Killing the passengers and igniting the mountainside on fire. The vehicle will be towed to a dealership for inspection by the insurance company and the dealership.

ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:12V/24V/48V BATTERY

The contact owns a 2024 Ram 1500. The contact stated that while driving approximately 45 MPH, the vehicle intermittently stalled and failed to return to normal operation. The braking, electronic stability control, and battery warning lights were illuminated. The failure had occurred on several occasions. The vehicle was towed to a dealer to be diagnosed; however, the cause of the failure was not yet determined. The vehicle was not repaired, and the failure persisted. SERVICE BRAKES
Vehicle failed state inspection w less than 24,000 miles due to excessive rear brake wear. Brake pad wear was significantly greater and failed inspection on the piston side of the brake pads potentially indicating failure or improperly functioning of electronic emergency brake.

VISIBILITY/WIPER
The turn signal switch activates the wipers sometimes. And sometimes the wipers ghost and run by themselves for no reason at all. This is very distracting and it has started to scratch the windshield. VERY DANGEROUS when travelling down the interstate at 70MPH and the wipers screech across the windshield all by themselves............PLEASE HELP.

ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
While driving down the highway, the vehicle completely lost power and the driver was forced to wrestle the truck to the side of the road in traffic.
