AIR BAGS

2 injured · crash · towed

In a hit-and-run accident, we were hit head on and the airbags did not deploy yet the car is a total loss. No side or front airbags deployed. Myself and my passenger needed medical care, my passenger specifically had hit the windshield and the airbags again still did not deploy. At impact, was traveling over 25 miles per hour when I was struck.

NHTSA complaint 11684108. Filed by an owner and not verified by NHTSA or by us.

AIR BAGS

2 injured

The curtain airbags deployed without any collision or impact. This suggests a failure of the airbag sensors. The vehicle and all components, including the deployed airbags and related sensors, are available for inspection upon request. The sudden airbag deployment created a significant safety hazard. If this had occurred while driving at higher speeds, it could have caused me to lose control of the vehicle. The force of the deployment itself poses a risk of injury and can cause burns, bruises, or hearing damage. Myself and the passenger experienced these injuries. Other drivers could have been endangered if my vehicle reacted unexpectedly due to the deployment. The manufacturer inspected

ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
I am extremely disappointed with Ford’s handling of my situation and the lack of customer support for what appears to be a premature major component failure. I own a 2024 Ford Mustang GT with only 56,022 miles. While driving, my air conditioning suddenly stopped blowing cold air. I took the vehicle to an authorized Ford dealership, where it was diagnosed with a catastrophic A/C compressor failure. The compressor had internally locked up, sending metal shavings throughout the A/C system. I was told the repair would require replacing the compressor, expansion valve, desiccant, belt, flushing the system, and recharging the A/C, with an estimated cost of nearly $5,000. I contacted Ford Customer

ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
I bought a new 2024 Mustang in 11/2024 from Town & Country Ford in Port Arthur, Tx. Days after the purchase, I recieved a voicemail to return asap and was told by the owner that I would recieve a gift card if I did. I didn't understand why at the time, as it wasn't explained. Unfortunately, I was unable to return because the dealership is 4 hours drive from my residence. That was the last I heard anything. Recently, in 6/2026 I noticed that there were 2 active recalls in the Ford app. I then made an appointment with my local dealership, Tyler Ford in Tyler, Tx and the recalls were performed. The service tech at the Tyler dealership advised me then that there was no warranty start date

NHTSA complaint 11751918, quoted in part. Filed by an owner and not verified by NHTSA or by us.

TIRES
Hello, the tire blew out on the interstate and is only at 25k mileage. Warranty stated is 40k mileage and I’m an extremely safe driver, I bought the car brand new with the tires on it

The contact owns a 2024 Ford Mustang. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 25V546000(EXTERIOR LIGHTING); however, the part to do the recall repair was unavailable. The local dealer was contacted and it was confirmed that the part was not available. The contact stated that the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer who confirmed corrosion was present. The failure mileage was 11,000.

NHTSA complaint 11741353. Filed by an owner and not verified by NHTSA or by us.

VISIBILITY/WIPER
Rear view mirror came away from windshield when adjusting. Resulted in damaged windshield that needed to be replaced. Shards of glass in the vehicle. Replacement cost from Safelite around $1000 (It seems that the glass wasn't correctly laminated, meaning the top later peeled away easily with the mirror mount
