The risk
If brake fluid leaks into the brake booster it can lengthen the distance needed to stop the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.

Nissan will notify owners, and dealers will replace the brake master cylinder, free of charge. The recall began March 19, 2018. Owners may contact Nissan customer service at 1-800-647-7261.

POWER TRAIN

crash

This has happened several times in the couple months ive owned the car, the scariest incident involving the transmission slipping and the car losing power was after having to stop on the shoulder of i95 highway this was the first time i had even given it more than the reasonable rate of pedel pressure or "gas" and im expecting to get up to speed to merge back into the flow of traffic however right at 45-50mph as im merging into the far right lane of the highway the engine just screams out and rpms max out the car slows rapidly. This is becoming more and more frequent and also theres times we take for granted when we need that engine to work to either get out of an intersesction, merge into

UNKNOWN OR OTHER

crash

We purchased this vehicle brand new and currently has 24,000 miles and has always been garaged . I just became aware now that there is no functioning burglar alarm and possibly no ignition lock-out similar to the Kia and Hyundai issue . Even though there is a functioning armed indicator light on the dash and there is a horn alert on locking and the button on the key fob alerts , there is no alarm on attempted entry or other assault . I looked the other day to see if the alarm fuse might be blown and there was no fuse in that position and there was only one wire to that position which , of course , makes it non- functional . This vehicle has had the tires vandalized , sabotaged, 3 times and

Never after driving.

ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
I have Change the battery every year for the last 3 years at no charge from Nissan. This year the battery acid came out and make some damages , which Nissan fixed at no charge due to (Collateral damage) Car stops accelerating out of nowhere even with the battery exchange Yes, Nissan service center has confirm that my car is not the only one having this issues , even there's cars that get battery exchange every 8 months . Nissan service center has checked this issue, but they just rather change the battery instead of checking why this is happening . decrease of acceleration starts around month 9 or 10, the difference right know is that even with the battery exchange is still happening.

Where these numbers come from

A complaint is one owner's account and has not been verified by NHTSA or by us. A vehicle with more complaints is not necessarily worse: models that sold in larger numbers collect more of them. How this is counted.
