ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
I was driving and the dashboard went haywire and all the warning lights started going on and off and the speedometer kept going down to 0 while driving. This kept going on and off and the radio would then go on and off as well.

UNKNOWN OR OTHER
Horn stopped working. Very dangerous. Poor design where water corrodes interface.

The contact owns a 2024 Hyundai Venue. The contact stated that while starting the vehicle there was an abnormal sputtering sound coming from the vehicle. The contact was unsure if warning lights were illuminated. The contact stated that on a separate occasion, while the vehicle was at the dealer for a maintenance check, the contact was informed that rodents had chewed through the wiring coating and that the fuel line was leaking. The contact was informed that half of the heat shield was gone. The dealer replaced the fuel line and the exhaust line. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 3,400.

NHTSA complaint 11728335. Filed by an owner and not verified by NHTSA or by us.

UNKNOWN OR OTHER
The soy-based coating on the harness surrounding critical wiring attracts squirrels who are keen to the scent resulting in wiring critical to the operation of the vehicle being chewed and malfunctioning. Not only is this repair expensive, but since one doesn't know it has happened, it is extremely dangerous when messing with critical components that affect the safe operation of the vehicle. Insurance has determined they will pay for the repair, but nothing is done to recoup the $500 deductible I had to pay, and the inconvenience of not having my vehicle for a long period of time. The replacement part is the same which means that this could happen repeatedly. . Hyundai refuses to compensate

NHTSA complaint 11715018, quoted in part. Filed by an owner and not verified by NHTSA or by us.

UNKNOWN OR OTHER
Merging onto I4, doing the speed limit of 70mph, no other cars around and my passenger side front window imploded into my car.

NHTSA complaint 11713313. Filed by an owner and not verified by NHTSA or by us.

UNKNOWN OR OTHER
Upon purchasing the vehicle I noticed the windows do not go down and up properly but rather get stuck in both the down and up position. I consider this a hazard because I'm the event of an accident if the website is the only way out it does not operate and also when driving the ability to wind up your windows keeps you safe from dangerous persons who may be inclined to reach through the window to attack those in their cars

Where these numbers come from

A complaint is one owner's account and has not been verified by NHTSA or by us. A vehicle with more complaints is not necessarily worse: models that sold in larger numbers collect more of them. How this is counted.
