The car jerks forward when accelerating from a stopped position which throws everyone in the car forward and it could potentially hit something or someone. The car does not stay in position when put in park or even turned off. It rolls back 2 feet and it hit my daughter and knocked her down from the rear and the car door hit my mother because it rolls back too far. Also, it has a major hesitation when trying to accelerate. When trying to pass a vehicle I almost got hit from a car behind me. These problems happen in every 2023 Infiniti QX60. My car is currently in the shop trying to be for the second time but each loaner car has the same problems. One infiniti service manager said the

FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: AUTOMATIC EMERGENCY BRAKING

1 injured

While driving 40-50mph, my 2023 QX60 malfunctioned sensing the car was in a front end collision forcefully stopping the car. The force was so strong that I thought a large truck hit me from behind. After realizing I was not in an accident, the dashboard was lit up with malfunction warnings. I was 5 miles from my local Infinity dealership when this occurred. I was able to drive straight to the dealership. The dashboard warnings stayed lit with safety warnings. The Infinity dealership had a service technician inspect my vehicle upon arriving. I was informed that my vehicle was unsafe to drive and the car generated safety malfunction codes with the technician. The car needed to have the ADES

SERVICE BRAKES

My car rolls back and forward, more than normal, after parking and putting the park into park and lifting foot off the break. It rolls back so fast that it knocked my mother forward and it knocked my daughter to the ground. So, when I put the car in park and I release the break is when it rolls back far enough to become a safety concern. The car also lurches forward when applying the gas pedal from a stoped position which is a safety hazard because it could potentially hit another car in front of me. Lastly, the car has a major hesitation from a slower speed into a higher speed which has been an hazard because if a car is coming up fast behind me I can’t pick up speed fast enough to avoid

UNKNOWN OR OTHER
The car locked with the keys inside. This has happened multiple times. My young children were strapped into their car seats outside in the summer heat when the door locked with the keys inside. We had to have firemen/police come help. Thankfully we were able to locate the second set of keys within 15 minutes and the children were wet from swimming and stayed cool because we were parked in the shade and the sun was setting.

ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
I've had multiple instances of electrical "shorts" with the vehicle resulting in the sonar system setting off warnings while driving on the highway and having to be replaced twice; the driver mirror shorted and had to be replaced; for a period of months, I would put my belongings in the passenger seat of my vehicle and by the time I got to the driver side of the vehicle, it would lock on me, or I would put it in the back seat, and by the time I exited the driver's side door, the back left door would lock on me (fortunately it was just a work bag and not a child) because the left door lock shorted; and various components of the trunk have shorted on multiple occasions causing the trunk to

ENGINE
The vehicle will randomly lurch forward quite a few inches after being placed in park - and even after the door has been opened, regardless of whether the car is parked on flat ground or on an incline, and regardless of whether the emergency brake is engaged. I have noticed this predominantly when backing into a parking spot and then having to shift from reverse to park. I reverse into a parking spot in a parking garage daily and have to ensure that no people or cars are walking/driving by before I put my car in park, which is both unsafe and ridiculous. The dealer could not replicate the issue when they looked at the car so nothing was done. Invoice is attached and video evidence can be

Where these numbers come from

A complaint is one owner's account and has not been verified by NHTSA or by us. A vehicle with more complaints is not necessarily worse: models that sold in larger numbers collect more of them. How this is counted.
