The defect
Chrysler (FCA US LLC) is recalling certain 2024-2025 Jeep Wagoneer, 2024-2026 Jeep Grand Cherokee, Jeep Grand Cherokee L, Jeep Grand Cherokee 4XE, Jeep Grand Wagoneer, 2025 Jeep Wagoneer L, 2025-2026 Jeep Grand Wagoneer L, 2026 Jeep Cherokee, and Jeep Grand Wagoneer L PHEV vehicles. Due to a software error, the tire pressure monitoring system may fail to detect low tire pressure and/or fail to illuminate the tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) warning light as intended. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 138, "Tire Pressure Monitoring System."
The risk
A TPMS warning light that fails to notify the driver of low tire pressure increases the risk of a crash.
The remedy
Dealers will update the radio frequency hub software, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed beginning September 29, 2026. The defect
Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2022-2026 Jeep Grand Cherokee and 2023-2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee L vehicles. A software error in the occupant restraint controller module may cause the delayed deployment of the side air bags during a crash. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 214, "Side Impact Protection."
The risk
Delayed air bag deployment during a crash increases the risk of injury.
The remedy
Dealers will update the occupant restraint controller module software, free of charge. Some owner notification letters are expected to be mailed June 18, 2026. Owners may contact Chrysler customer service at 800-853-1403. Chrysler's number for this recall is 01D. The defect
Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2020-2025 Jeep Wrangler 4Xe and 2022-2026 Grand Cherokee 4Xe vehicles. The high voltage battery may fail internally and lead to a vehicle fire while parked or driving.
The risk
A vehicle fire can increase the risk of injury.
The remedy
Owners are advised to park outside and away from structures and not to charge their vehicles until the remedy is completed. Dealers will update the high voltage battery software, and replace the high voltage battery, as necessary, free of charge. Some owner notification letters were mailed beginning December 17, 2025. The remaining owner notification letters will be mailed at a later date. Owners may contact Chrysler customer service at 800-853-1403. Chrysler's number for this recall is 68C. Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) involved in this recall will be searchable on NHTSA.gov beginning November 6, 2025. Vehicles that were previously recalled for the same issue under NHTSA Recalls 24V720 and 23V787 will need to have the new remedy performed.

The defect
Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2022-2026 Jeep Grand Cherokee Plug-In Hybrid Electric (PHEV) vehicles. A software error within the hybrid control processor may result in a loss of drive power.
The risk
A loss of drive power increases the risk of a crash.
The remedy
Dealers will update the hybrid control processer software, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed October 14, 2025. Owners may contact Chrysler customer service at 800-853-1403. FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: AUTOMATIC EMERGENCY BRAKING

brand new 2025 jeep grand Cherokee less than 3 weeks old - I just got into an accident last night on the freeway my car began to decelerate and accelerator completely stopped working. I noticed an AEBS alert and engine light on the dash but came close to no other cars for this to have come on. Came to a complete stop and I look down and the car is in park. I was unable to put the car back in drive on the freeway. Put on my hazards and called 911 immediately, knowing how dire the situations was, while trying to find a way to get moving, and watched as I was rear ended by a pickup going full speed.

The contact owns a 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee. While the contact’s daughter was driving at an undisclosed speed on the way to work, another driver crossed the road and crashed into the vehicle. The air bags in the daughter’s vehicle failed to deploy as needed. The front of the vehicle was damaged, the hood was bent, the grill was damaged, and headlights were knocked out of the headlight enclosures. The daughter was taken to a clinic, and an X-ray determined that there was a swollen tendon in the left knee, and medical treatment was provided. I was driving on the highway when the sunroof on my JGC exploded. I checked for a debris, ie rock, stick, inside the cabin and found none. There was no other damage to the auto other than the sunroof.

The contact owns a 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The contact stated that while his wife was driving 45 MPH and depressing the accelerator pedal, the contact heard a loud sound coming from the front of the vehicle and the vehicle lost power. No warning light was illuminated. The contact shifted the gear shifter into neutral(N), then to drive(D), and the vehicle operated intended. A dealer was contacted. The vehicle was taken to a dealer to be diagnosed; however, the diagnostic result was unknown. The contact stated that the failure had occurred on several occasions. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
Car cut off while driving, again. Full dashboard started to flash, warnings, stated that there was no battery, no gas. I was stopped in traffic and managed to pull over and had restart the car. This is the second time that it has cut off while driving . The first time my toddler son was in the car in morning traffic and it cut off. This is an extreme safety hazard for myself, my family and others driving. The entire system failed. It was supposedly fixed before but the problem is still there.

SERVICE BRAKES
On XXX at approximately 1:32 p.m., I was stopped in a Starbucks drive-through in my 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe. The vehicle was completely stopped and my foot was on the brake pedal. Without any intentional acceleration input from me, the vehicle suddenly lurched forward. The movement was significant enough that I initially believed the vehicle behind me had struck my Jeep. I then confirmed that the vehicle behind me had not made contact with my vehicle. Fortunately, I had left sufficient distance between my Jeep and the vehicle in front of me, and no collision occurred. This is the second serious unintended vehicle-control event I have experienced with this vehicle. I previously

SERVICE BRAKES
2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee with approximately 34,214 miles. The vehicle has an ongoing clicking noise during acceleration and deceleration that has been presented to an authorized Jeep dealership for repair on multiple occasions and remains unresolved. The vehicle was returned to the dealership again on September 4, 2026. The repair order documents “CLICKING NOISE WHEN ACCELERATING AND SLOWING DOWN.” The clicking concern originally began much earlier in the vehicle's life and has continued despite repeated service visits and attempts to diagnose the cause.
