The defect
Honda (American Honda Motor Co.) is recalling certain 2023-2025 Acura Integra, Civic Type R, CR-V Hybrid, CR-V, HR-V, 2022-2025 Civic, Civic Hatchback, 2024-2025 Acura Integra Type S, 2025 CR-V Fuel Cell EV, Civic Hybrid, and Civic Hatchback Hybrid vehicles. The steering gearbox assembly may have been manufactured incorrectly, which can cause excessive internal friction and lead to difficulty steering the vehicle.
The risk
Difficulty steering can increase the risk of a crash.
The remedy
Dealers will replace the worm gear spring and redistribute or add grease as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed November 18, 2024. Owners may contact Honda Customer Service at 1-888-234-2138. Honda's numbers for this recall are SJS, MJU, QJT and VJV.

We had an accident with my Honda HRV where we rear-ended another vehicle. Right before the crash, a message showed on the dashboard that the brakes system isn't working. Also the airbag didn't deploy. We suspect a technical failure that caused the accident. The Car was towed and then totaled. We had to go to the ER twice. The problem hasn't been confirmed by a dealer yet, and I opened a case with Honda US. It's been a week now and no response yet from Honda US. There was a light snow on that day.

SERVICE BRAKES

My 2025 Honda HR-V experienced an apparent braking/ABS/VSA system malfunction and is currently at the Honda dealership. The dealership has not released the vehicle back to me, and it is available for inspection. I was completely stopped at a traffic light with my foot firmly on the brake when the vehicle unexpectedly began moving forward while my foot remained on the brake. I did not press the accelerator. The vehicle moved forward and contacted the stopped vehicle in front of me at very low speed. The vehicle was towed to the local dealer, who diagnosed the vehicle with battery failure. The battery was replaced, but moments later, after leaving the dealer, the TPMS warning light illuminated. The vehicle was driven back to the dealer, and a software recalibration was performed, but the failure reoccurred. The next morning, the vehicle failed to immediately start. To Whom It May Concern, I am requesting assistance with a serious steering issue involving my 2025 Honda HR-V, which I purchased on XXX, from Coral Springs Honda in [XXX]. FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM
The 2025 Honda hrv will stall and cut off after pumping gasoline. It will stall out at a red light and not crank back up. It says emissions problem on the dash. I believe it is the fuel pump but there is no recall like the others i have seen online. It’s a brand new car it shouldn’t be having problems like this!
